Sawdust and ordinary wood shavings are not suitable for rabbits. The Royal Veterinary College says many can cause liver problems if eaten, and Merck says they can irritate the airways.
Medicines

Never use fipronil flea products on rabbits. Merck says fipronil can cause severe nervous system problems and death in rabbits, and Pet Poison Helpline and House Rabbit Society warn against it.
