Privacy policy

Requires legal review. This is a draft and has not yet been checked by a lawyer.

This policy explains what information FuzzyNibbles collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Information you give us

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the reason you chose, any animal or item you mention, and your message. We use it only to reply and to improve the site. The form also records that you agreed to this policy.

Spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Cloudflare processes information from your browser to do this. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Information stored on your device

To remember the animal and region you chose, the site saves two small settings in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can clear them by clearing your browser’s site data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, through the Google Site Kit plugin, to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) and sends information about your visit, such as the pages you view and your device and browser, to Google. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block it with Google’s opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Hosting services

The site loads a script from Hostinger Reach, a service of our web host. It sets a security cookie named __cf_bm, used by Cloudflare to tell people from bots. See Hostinger’s privacy policy.

Advertising

We do not show advertising or use advertising cookies.

How long we keep messages

We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to reply and to fix any errors you report.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by using the contact form.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page.
